HistoryPupil has "one foot in the past, and both eyes dead set on the future." So says Ely Buendia, evil mastermind behind the phenomenon that is Pupil.Pupil first started out in 2002 under the band name The Mongols. They also had a different lineup, with Jerome Velasco included but after he quit the band, the others decided to have a name change too. Pupil was the main choice because it was short, easy to scream out during gigs, and guitarist Yan liked the multiple meanings. And thus, Pupil was born. They have released two albums entitled Beautiful Machines and Wildlife respectively under Sony BMG Records. |
